Very high drinking water consumption

To all residents with an outdoor or indoor swimming pool or an automatic irrigation system

Since last week, we have observed unusually high water consumption during nighttime hours in our drinking water network.

Possible causes include:

• a leak in the drinking water network (currently under inspection),
• a swimming pool with an automatic water level regulator that may have a faulty valve,
• a filtration system with a malfunctioning multi-way valve that releases fresh water directly into the sewer,
• an automatic irrigation system with faulty controls or damaged pipes.

We kindly ask all owners of such systems to inspect them carefully.
