PDC Kopstal online Survey: Citizens’ opinions matter

As part of the Plan de développement communal (PDC) that the municipality of Kopstal has been working on since the beginning of the year, it is particularly important to us to involve you, the citizens, in the planning process at an early stage. Whether you live, work, go to school, or visit Kopstal or Bridel, your local knowledge and experience are valuable for the future development of the municipality.

With this online survey, the municipality would like to find out how Kopstal and Bridel are perceived today and what expectations there are for the future. The results of the survey will be used to form a solid basis for sound planning decisions. At the end of the PDC process, the results of the survey will be documented in an evaluation report and published.

The PDC in a nutshell

The Municipal Development Plan is an informal planning tool and a joint roadmap for the future spatial development of our municipality. Its development is based on a cooperative process in which the administration, politicians, and citizens work together in an open dialogue.

The first phase of the PDC planning process involves taking a close look at our community: we examine its current spatial structure, what it has to offer, where its potential lies, and where problems exist. To ensure a comprehensive overview, we have determined eleven thematic areas that are crucial to our daily lives. 

The eleven subject areas of the PDC are:

• Mobility & Development
• Social Infrastructure & Local Services
• Technical Supply Infrastructure
• Climate Protection & Climate Adaptation
• Sustainability & Ecology
• Leisure, Sports, Culture & Community
• Information, Communication & Participation
• Municipal Governance

With the PDC, we want to ensure that the quality of life in our community is maintained and continuously improved in the long term. This is not just about solving existing problems, but also about recognizing and further developing the assets of Kopstal and Bridel.

Sustainable planning for the development of our community, for a better quality of life, positive coexistence, and a place where people enjoy living can only be achieved when many people have a say. Please share your ideas, suggestions, and desires with us!

How can you participate?

The municipality would like to use the online survey to enable accessible and flexible participation for all citizens. This means you can take part in the survey directly, regardless of time, location, or mobility, and submit your opinions, ideas, and concerns for the PDC development process.

All citizens are invited to participate in the survey. Regardless of whether you are a resident, employee, student, or visitor, every perspective is important and relevant to us!
