The Parents' Association, known as the APE, was set up in 1999, and since its inception has been committed to the interests of the parents and pupils of Bridel Primary School. Working closely with the teaching staff and the local authority, we take an active part in all activities designed to promote the development of our children. What's more, we are always on hand to listen to any concerns or questions relating to the school campus, and can, for example, answer questions from new residents who are not yet familiar with the school system. Of course, all this is only possible thanks to a long tradition of good cooperation and friendly, constructive dialogue, whether with the teaching staff, the Maison Relais, the Youth Centre or the local authority. We are also delighted to be able to offer the children of Bridel primary school a whole range of activities throughout the school year thanks to this good collaboration. 

The parents' association is above all made up of parents who volunteer their time, but it also functions thanks to subscriptions, membership cards, donations and the profits we make from various events.

Däreldéieren is the autonomous scout group in our municipality and was founded in 1976. Today, the group has 120 active members from all age groups. This makes the group the second-largest children's and youth club in the municipality. Meetings are mainly held in their "Home", but can also be held in other locations if special activities are organised.

The aim of our association is to explore and document the past of Kopstal and Bridel and the surrounding area. We present the results of our research to the general public in the form of brochures, at exhibitions and on walks through our municipality.

Since 2009, our members have been receiving a richly illustrated brochure twice a year. In it, the authors delve into the history of the municipality, present old originals from Kopstal and point out interesting spots in today's countryside. The editorial team endeavours to preserve the memory of Kopstal and Bridel and to establish links with the present. Most of the articles are written in German, with some in Lëtzebuergesch or French. The first issues are long out of print, but can still be ordered as digital PDF files.

We also try to draw attention to the beauty and special features of our municipality through nature themes. Every year, we organise a hike to sharpen our eye for nature and learn more about Luxembourg's flora and fauna. Along the way, we also unearth relics of bygone days. The association's cultural activities include organising exhibitions, excursions abroad and lectures by specialists on a wide range of subjects.

The Motoclub Kopstal-Bridel traditionally organises its annual ‘Motocross’ event on 1 May, as well as introductory motocross courses for children.

The Tennis Club Bridel-Koplescht, located in the municipality of Kopstal, is a friendly venue dedicated to tennis enthusiasts of all ages and levels. With 4 courts, the club offers an ideal setting for playing tennis. In addition to the facilities, the club offers tennis lessons for children and adults, given by qualified coaches. Social events strengthen the community spirit among members. The Tennis Club Bridel-Koplescht is a haven for tennis enthusiasts, combining sport and conviviality.

The ‘Les Timbrophiles du Val des Oseraies Kopstal-Bridel’ club was founded in 1964 in Kopstal.

At meetings, members receive national and international philatelic information. Where necessary, assistance is given to those interested in setting up a collection.

Meetings are convened at the Kulturhaus in Kopstal.
