Ateliers de Kopstal

The autumn-winter edition of the Ateliers de Kopstal takes place during the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year and begins in the week of 23 of February 2026 (excluding school holidays). The registration fee is €100 per course (€50 for the course and €50 for materials).

Sewing

Mireille Petit offers a sewing class for every level. There are lots of great projects waiting for you. At the end of the year, a small fashion show will be organised to showcase the students' creations!

Materials to bring: sewing machine; pencil; scissors (paper and fabric); ruler; 1 tape measure; 1 pencil; box of pins; tracing paper for patterns (paper or plastic). Mireille Petit will be in touch with the students about materials for the specific projects (fabrics, patterns). If you have any questions, Mireille Petit can be contacted by e-mail or telephone.

Figurative painting

Develop your artistic eye by refining your observation and shape-analysis techniques. Through learning composition, perspective, and the interplay of light and shadow, you will strengthen the essential foundations of figurative art. Whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your skills, this course offers an ideal opportunity to enrich your expertise in a creative and inspiring environment.

The course will be run by Paula Szpinda, a painter, researcher and art educator. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2014 with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting.
