Declaration of a dog

All dogs must be declared to the population office of the municipal administration by the person who has custody of them. This declaration must be made within three months of taking custody of the animal.

To register your dog, please provide:

• the dog's passport or the vet's certificate and
• a certificate of civil liability insurance

In the event of the dog's death, a copy of the veterinary certificate attesting the animal's death must be presented to the Population Office.

The annual dog tax is 25€ per dog.
