Terms and conditions
Any person, regardless of nationality, who establishes their habitual residence within the territory of a Luxembourg municipality, must declare their presence within 8 days upon arrival to the Population Office of the municipal administration of their place of residence.
Required documents
- a valid identity card or passport
- a tenancy agreement, a deed of ownership drawn up by a notary or a certificate of accommodation to be completed using the form below
- for Union citizens (nationals of a European Union Member State) and citizens of an assimilated country (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and the Swiss Confederation): the registration certificate
- for family members of Union citizens who are third-country citizens: the residence card of a family member of a Union citizen
- for third-country citizens: the residence permit.
