Bicherbus

Since January 2022, the Luxembourg National Library's "Bicherbus" service has been operating in the commune of Kopstal.

According to the schedule, the bus sets up 1 or 2 times a month at the entrance to the Wirtspesch car park in Kopstal (Rue Mersch).

Registration form: young readers < 14 years

If you are already registered, you can reserve your documents online via a-z.lu and specify your pick-up location at least 5 working days before the Bicherbus passes through the chosen location. A Youtube channel with a tutorial can be consulted to help users in their search and reservation.

Each user can borrow up to 15 books and 4 sound recordings or DVDs.

The loan period is 42 days and can be extended again for the same period. However, an extension is no longer possible if another reader has made a reservation for one of your documents.

Borrowed documents can be returned not only to the Bicherbus, but also at any time via the automatic return system outside the National Library building in Kirchberg. Documents that cannot be returned via the automatic return system can be deposited in a special return box located in the lock of the main entrance of the Library. This box is accessible from 8 am to 8 pm.
