Function
During school, your child's health is monitored by the Ligue médicosociale's school health team. The examinations are compulsory and free of charge. They are given to students in cycles 1.1, 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2:
- weight and height gain
- summary analysis of urine
- summary examination of visual acuity
- monitoring of the vaccination card
- health check-up by the school doctor
- social overview
The school doctor does not suggest any medical treatment. If observations requiring further medical advice are made, a justification letter will be sent to the parents with the recommendation to consult their trusted doctor. The consultations are recorded in a medical booklet and managed in complete confidentiality. This booklet will be given to you on request at the end of your child's schooling. The medical-social school health team is at your disposal for any question relating to your child's health, school and social integration.
