Introduction
The general development plan (PAG) is a set of graphic and written regulations that complement each other and cover the entire municipal territory, dividing it into various zones and determining land use.
The objective of the general development plan is the judicious distribution and establishment of human activities in the various zones it designates, in order to ensure the sustainable development of the municipality based on the objectives defined by Article 2 of the amended law of July 19, 2004, concerning municipal planning and urban development.

The project to revise Kopstal's General development plan is currently in the process of being adopted. The various documents related to this general development project can be viewed here:
Until the new General development plan comes into effect, the provisions of the old regulations will remain applicable and can be viewed here :

In this context, it is worth recalling the provisions of Article 21 of the amended law of July 19, 2004, concerning municipal planning and urban development, which state the following:
« Art. 21. Servitudes
A partir de la décision du conseil communal intervenue dans les conditions de l’article 10, alinéa 2, toute modification de limites de terrains en vue de l’affectation de ceux-ci à la construction, toute construction ou réparation confortative ainsi que tous travaux généralement quelconques qui sont contraires aux dispositions du projet sont interdits, à l’exception des travaux de conservation et d’entretien. Ces servitudes deviennent définitives au moment de l’entrée en vigueur du plan d’aménagement général. »
